Apart from Saif-Kareena, one more pairing that's being talked about in glowing terms this year is Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone who shall be seen in the film for the first time, the real life sparks between the two are rubbing into the groovy proximity in this movie as can be witnessed in breathlessness kisses aching blushing cheeks from the stills released recently.

A romantic musical for Yash Raj Films had been struggling to find an appropriate title. Finally, it was named - “Bachna Ae Haseenon”, which harks back to his father’s chartbuster.

“But I don’t think we decided to name the film ‘Bachna Ae Haseenon’ to suggest a link with my past. Sure, the song was a big R.D. Burman chartbuster in its time. My dad, mom and I are all huge fans of RDB,” say’s Ranbir .

“My parents’ biggest hits were composed by him. But more than the instant connectivity, I think the title was selected because it’s very apt for my film. It’s about this guy’s journey in life and his different encounters with various women,” he added.

The film, which has the young superstar courting Bipasha Basu, Minissha Lamba and Deepika Padukone, is 60 percent complete and is expected to open Aug 15.

Katrina Kaif was supposed to play the role of fourth lady. But as the film was getting too long, Katrina’s role was erased, as she was the only actress who hadn’t shot the movie till that time.As the film’s title suggests, Ranbir is playing a Casanova in the story.

Ranbir didn’t disclose anything about the story as he is contractually bound.
