Abhishek and Kay Kay filmed some action packed climax portions for the film at Sambhar Lake in Rajasthan. The action packed scenes consisted of sword fighting and horseback riding. The climax has a brilliantly choreographed fight sequence between Abhishek Bachchan and Kay Kay Menon. Priyanka Chopra too has performed some daredevil stunts and action sequences for the film.
Shyam Kaushal was not the only fight director for Drona. Drona also had award-winning action coordinator Tom Delmar, who has worked on Guy Ritchie’s Snatch, and London based sword master Richard Ryan, who trained Brad Pitt and Eric Bana for Troy.
The music for Drona has been done by debutant music duo Dhruv-Ashu. Also Austrian band Bauchklang has been roped in for one of the tracks on the soundtrack.

A foster family in a faraway distant town brings up Aditya, a young man unaware of his real identity. A recurring nightmare has been tormenting him ever since he was a child.
On another part of the world, far away from Aditya, an evil sorcerer, Riz Raizada, a descendant of the legendary demons has become dangerously impatient, in his thirst to take control over the universe.
He is waiting for the secret that would help him fulfil his dream. To get to the secret, he’d have to defeat Drona. And herein lay his problem. He didn’t know who or where Drona was! But when fate brings the two together Riz immediately recognizes him as the man he was waiting for.
Just when Aditya is about to be captured by Riz’s men a cult that believes that Drona is their messiah, rescues him. Sonia, the leader of the cult, reveals Aditya’s real identity to him. Sonia then takes Aditya back to his place of birth, the ancient kingdom of Pratapgarh where his mother, Queen Jayati Devi would have all the answers to his questions. But before he could meet up with his mother, Riz and his army of the darkest powers catch up with
him.
