Everyone associated with this film is very tight-lipped about it but there are strong rumours that this film may just be a sequel to the cult film Dil Chahta Hai. Rubbishing the rumours that the film is a sequel to Dil Chahta Hai, Zoya clearly mentions that she is not interested in ‘copying’ anything “We’ve set out to make a fun film that pertains to the youth and connects with the maximum number of people. Reema Kagti — my co-writer, and I are not interested in copying anything,” says Zoya about ZNMD.

Talking about the terrific star cast. “We’ve managed a coup this is a dream cast. I’m fortunate that Farhan and Riteish got these actors to agree. Between Hrithik, Farhan and Abhay, I’ve pretty much got every chick in the audience covered. Their individual fan base is enviable.’’ Says the young director.

Hrithik is excited about Zoya’s film because both she and he come from a space where they understand each other really well. Having worked together on Luck By Chance, they are in tandem with each other’s sensibilities. Zoya, who knows her brother Farhan’s strengths as an actor, feels he suits his role in ZNMD to the ‘T’.

“And Abhay is going to be the surprise packet,’’ she says, “I think he is truly sensible to not ape what other actors are doing.’’ For Katrina, the fact that she is teaming up with Hrithik for the first time is very interesting. Says Zoya, “Katrina is the only one I didn’t know too well before we started the readings. But I must say she is very sweet and extremely professional also, one of the most successful girls currently. ’’ And, last but not the least in this pack of six players is Kalki, who is not the typical Bollywood heroine either. “But,’’ as Zoya puts it, “she comes with a different set of sensibilities and is an actress who can rise to any challenge.’’

From the very look of it, this film is definitely our bet for the next year!

Kabir (Abhay Deol) has just met Natasha. Six months later, they are engaged.

He wants to go on an extended bachelor party. A three week road trip with Imraan (Farhan akhtar) and Arjun (Hrithik Roshan) - his two best friends since school. The only problem is Arjun is too tied up with work. After much emotional blackmail and cajoling the boys set off on a journey they were meant to take four years ago.

A fantasy holiday they had planned to take after college but never happened. A road trip where each one gets to do the ultimate sport of his choice and the other two have to do it with him. Whether they want to or not!
