Rani Mukherjee seems all set to be back with a bang. Even though her last few of releases didn't quite work at the BO, Rani seems ready for a comeback with UTV Spotboy's No One Killed Jessica. The movie is Produced by Ronnie Screewala and directed by Raj Kumar Gupta.

The film also has Vidya Balan and Randeep Hooda in lead roles. No One Killed Jessica is a fast paced thriller set in the hub of political power, New Delhi. It is the story of two women and their relentless pursuit of justice that mobilizes an entire nation to prove that in democracy there is no greater power than the power of the people. It'll definitely be interesting to see Rani and Vidya in the same frame that too in a film dealing with such a serious subject. Based on the real life story of Sabrina Lal, sister of slain Jessica Lal who was allegedly murdered on April 29, 1999 by Manu Sharma, son of a former Union Minister.
Synopsis:
New Delhi, 1999. The guns at Kargil are still blazing when another one goes off, this time in the nation’s capital. Jessica, a young attractive model trying her hand at bartending, is shot dead at a celebrity party. Her crime - refusing to serve a drink after closing hours! The culprit Manish, son of a prominent politician, inebriated by a deadly cocktail of alcohol and a sense of entitlement, pulls the trigger in a fit of rage. With 300 of Delhi’s swish set present at the party, many of whom are witnesses to the murder, Manish looks all set to go to the gallows. Except, that it doesn’t quite turn out that way! Now two women, Jessica’s sister, Sabrina and the feisty TV reporter, Meera will have to drum up every resource at their disposal to outwit Manish at his own game, if the truth is to have any chance of prevailing over money and political clout.
