Aamir will be a soft spoken evil Kingpin of an international crime racket. He is once again going to write the new rules for his role of a villain and will be seen underplaying his machinations and doing things in a distinctly soft manner to contrast with usual brash manner of the bad men of celluloid.
Aamir’s look will be different from Hrithik Roshan’s tan look in ‘Dhoom 2’ or John Abraham’s super biker avatar in the first part. In fact, Aditya Chopra has already told writer-director Vijay Krishna Acharya to customize the role of the villain to suit perfectionist Khan’s physique and personality. Sources say that Aamir Khan maneuvers in the film as an international mafia king will be smooth but more devastating and menacing than earlier actions of John Abraham and Hrithik Roshan.
The slot of the leading lady in ‘Dhoom 3’ is still vacant and no heroine—Priyanka Chopra, Katrina or Deepika Padukone—has been finalized for the project. Though Priyanka, with her fit body and experience in executing action sequences in films like ‘Don’, is said to be leading the pack, there is no official word from Yashraj as yet. Another gossip, which if it comes true, will certainly see a new sensational pairing. Industry is abuzz with rumours that Adi is looking to approach Freida Pinto for the film. It will be interesting to see if Freida, who has still not been seduced to do a Bollywood movie by any of our makers, would see her big debut come opposite Aamir. A top source reveals, "There is a possibilty that Freida might debut in Bollywood with Dhoom:3.
Aamir Khan is excited about the script of ‘Dhoom 3’ and his character. Though he admits that initially he was very apprehensive about his character in ‘Dhoom 3’, as it had been a big entertainer in its earlier avatar and he could not see any role in the scheme of things for himself. However, all his misgivings disappeared when Aditya gave full narration to Aamir Khan.
Dhoom 3 is slated to release around X'Mas 2012. Victor Acharya, who wrote Dhoom and Dhoom 2 and also directed Tashan, will direct the film.
