It’s
no understatement to say that Sushmita Sen is every
Indian male fantasy. Former beauty queen was busy
for the last one-and-a-half months, as she was traveling
in support of her world tour. You will be surprised to
know that Bollywood is where her heart is. She was
drained not long ago but she is happy that she has at
last reached home safe.
Sushmita
Sen is already at work on her autobiography and in
quintessential Sush style, she promises it will shock
the reader. She has been writing it for years now, but
has just finalised its title: The Butterfly. “I'm sure
readers will sit up on reading the book. Not that it
will be very different from what people know of me as a
person,” says Sushmita. “So far, different people
had written different things about me. But now I'd like
to share some truths, which no one has written to date,
with my readers. I want to show them a different side of
myself.” |

| How
revealing is her autobiography going to be? “I
have never hidden anything from anyone, and do not
intend to do so in the book either,” she says.
“I smoke in Renee's presence and she keeps
reprimanding me by saying, 'Mama you'll have a big
hole in your lung'. But she knows that her mother
is not perfect. I can't ask my child to be true to
me if I lie about myself to her. My book will be
an honest account of my life.”

Will
she write about the men in her life with as much
honesty? “Hey, I would not like to censor
anything at all, not even the ugliest incidents or
aspects of my life,” she replies. “But I don't
know whether the men in my life would like it were
I to write about our life together, uncensored.
That is my only concern. I can't jeopardise the
life of others at the cost of being honest. But
yes, I will mention each and every incident in my
life, even though I may not mention names.
Personally, though I would love to mention them
all and would be grateful if they allowed me to
name them too,” she says |

So,
when does she get the time to write, amidst her shooting
schedules? "I don't get too much time, nor do I
write as a routine. I write whenever I am with
myself," she says. It has been alleged that
Sushmita has a suicidal bent of mind. Will she be
highlighting this aspect of her personality too? "I
know where the question is coming from. When I saw the
promo of Ankahee where Esha is holding a gun to her
head, I was disappointed. People said that Vikram was
making a film inspired by our relationship. But I think
he overdid it, which was unfair. I love my life and I
consider it God's gift," she says.

The
vivacious beauty revealed that she has parted ways with
Randeep Hooda. “Often, even before my relationship can
turn into something solid, people decide it, and then it
actually happens. I have a strong equation with people.
My equation with Randeep had changed some time ago. We
are very good friends now. He’s a sweetheart and will
always be a part of my life”, she said.
So,
who is the new man in her life? Is it filmmaker Maanav
Menon whom the rumors have linked her? Well, nobody can
hide the truth and she seems to know it. “I met him
while I was shooting for a jewelry endorsement program
directed by him. He’s into production and direction.
Yes, I am in the process of getting to know him. There
cannot be commitment without knowing the person. He is
very close to me”, she confesses.
She
seems to have experienced relationship, love and a sense
of fulfillment. So, is she happy with the way things
have come and gone in her life? She philosophically
said, “An ideal life is a miracle. I have managed some
portions of this miracle in my life. Yes, in a day
Sushmita lives few moments of the miracle”.

With
new relationship falling in place with every fall
out and a lovely daughter by her side, Sush seems
to be contented with life. The question ‘will
she marry?’ must be hovering in many people’s
mind. Well, like any other Indian women, her heart
beats for marriage. “Sushmita and marriage? The
concept sounds very unreal... just joking! But I
do believe in the institution of marriage. It
exists and it’s the most beautiful part of life.
But in my case, I have an incredible commitment to
life in the form of my daughter and my work as
well. Renee is my world”, she said without a
pause. |

Sush is straightforward in her approach and
lives her life king size. Above all, she is
a complete woman with a lovely child by her
side. She has proclaimed to the world that
Renee is her world, not realizing that she
is in fact molding Renee’s world. This is
the dept of mother’s love for her child. |
