The
publicity of JAAN-E-MAAN Shirish Kunder film
starring Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Preity Zinta,
Anupam Kher and Soni Razdan will begin. Popular
music channel MTV has been charged with the
responsibility of kick-starting the promotion of
the film via an exclusive First Look at the film.
A 5 second sneak peak of Jaan-E-Mann is already on
air and from the look of the things, the Mujhse
Shaadi Karogi team of Sajid, Salman and Akshay may
have another hit on their hands.

what makes this Salman-Preity-Akshay starrer,

How
Jaan-E-Mann happened?
After Mujhse Shaadi Karoge, I was planning my next
film. At a party at Shah Rukh’s home, Farah
(Khan) introduced me to Shirish (Kunder). She was
dating him then. Shirish narrated an idea and I
liked it.
It’s
a love triangle?
I
would say it’s a romantic musical. Jaan-E-Mann
has been showcased like a Broadway musical —
with the story told in an unusual manner. There is
even a curtain raiser, like in musicals. The story
concept is new with lots of drama, humour and
tears. Scenes have been choreographed and
dramatically shot.
The
canvas is large with an international look to it
—Salman dancing on the table, Akshay wooing
Preity through a song, the comedy scenes —
everything has unusual treatment.

What
made you repeat the Salman-Akshay jodi?
Their chemistry it just improves with time like
good wine. When they first met during Mujhse
Shaadi Karoge, they had reservations. But after
that, things went from better to best. On the last
day of the shoot, one could see the underlying
comfort level and respect between Salman and
Akshay, in spite of the controversies surrounding
them. Any rumor or any truth is not bigger than
Salman as a person, so there were no apprehension
or anxiety pangs. It’s an expensive film and was
well planned.

Salman
Khan will be seen in three different looks in Jaaneman ,
out of which one is a bald. The other two looks are rumored
to be sexy and funny. Akshay plays a nerd in the movie
and Priety his wife. Priety will hopefully be seen in a
bubbly role which suites her to the T.
Jaaneman
has been filmed using Super 35 cinemascope, an advanced
style of film making with great flexibility with
visuals, something the film relies on heavily. Akshay
Kumar, who plays the role of an astronaut from NASA, is
a geek in the film. Preity who plays Akshay’s wife
says she is a fun character in the film. Six feet tall
Anupam Kher plays the role of a dwarf suggesting that
director Shirish Kunder really played around with the
new technology that he got to lay his hands upon.
Jaaneman
has got an unprecedented offer of Rs 8 crore for
theatrical distribution in Mumbai, which is a record of
sorts. The
distributors from the rest of the world are also excited
about the movie.
Speaking
to the ones associated with movie. No body was actually
ready to tell much about the film.

Akshay:
"it is too early to say anything about this movie.
The movie is going to be out in October and just wait
and watch, it is going to be a revelation."
Priety:
"This movie is very fun, cool movie, shot in
beautiful locales in US. It has got a lot of repeat
value. People rite from 4yrs to 104yrs are going to
enjoy it."
Salman:
"A neat entertainer."
Shrish:
"This movie will have very little dialogues and
more of actions and emotions. A movie is one which can
make you laugh a lot and at the end leave you with one
or two tears, I feel jaaneman is one such movie."

Anu
Malik has composed the music of the movie and Gulzar has
penned the lyrics. T-series has got the rights of this
movie for a huge amount. Speaking to Bhushanji, he said:
"It is a unique score from Anu Malik. I am just
waiting for Salman & Sajid to give me permission to
release the music. I am sure that the cassettes will
sell like hot cakes from the very first day itself. The
music is going to be madness, it is going to rock. Anu
will reach great heights with this score. I am very
excited and expecting that the music will break all
records."
