John Abraham to come to terms with the fact that
Bipasha Basu may never come back to him, and that he may have to move on in life. The actor, who's currently shooting in Pondicherry for Nagesh Kukunoor's Aashayen, was unaware of the gravity of developments back home. |

The talk of the serious rift with Bipasha that is blowing across Mumbai until very recently has come as a blow to normally cool headed John. A close friend of John says that John has realised that it may be too late to make amends. "That's when it dawned on him that a lot of people have intruded into their relationship and that some people are definitely trying to create problems between him and Bipasha. He's now seriously worried because Bipasha is the finest woman he has ever met, he doesn't want a split with her. Forget about leaving her, John wouldn't do anything to hurt her," he says.

According to John's friend, these efforts to harm his relationship with Bipasha are deliberate. "Somebody or some people are spreading these rumours for their own gains it's so easy to see who's been calling up the media to plant stories about Bipasha moving away from John and drifting into another relationship. John hasn't made any attempt to have his say. So far, he believed his love for Bipasha, and vice versa, was strong enough to withstand these vicious attacks. But he won't keep quiet for too long," says the friend. "If these rumours have influenced Bipasha in any way then John will fly back from his shooting to make sure nothing and no one comes between him and his love. He won't lose Bipasha at any cost," warns the friend.

| Apparently, Bipasha has given him an ultimatum to speak up or face the music from her side. Bipasha called up all her friends in the media and told them that John would call them in an hour's time to speak to them and exactly an hour latter, John the dutiful boyfriend called up the selected group of media people from Pondicherry, where he is currently shooting, to issue the denial about their break-up and also praise his girlfriend Bipasha.
"The poor guy had no other option but to give in to Bipasha's demands. She was adamant that he speaks and clarifies, or at least takes a stand. She kept it hanging for too long and it was becoming increasingly difficult to answer queries about their break up, whereas John always found the easy way out by telling Bipasha to take care of it." says a friend of Bipasha.
Never mind what you have been reading about l'affaire this is the real story. There's no Mallika Sherawat or Vidya Balan on the scene for him and likewise, Dino Morea and Saif Ali Khan feature nowhere in her life. The Bollywood duo clears the air with John taking up their honour.
"I am talking as Bipasha's spokesperson," laughs John. He is shooting in Pondicherry for Nagesh Kukunoor's Aashaayein where there is no network. "Probably that's why my silence is being misinterpreted," explained the hunk. "Okay, here it is, we are very much together and this is the women I love and am marrying!"
He could not be more specific. Linking Bips with other men, John feels, shows the otherwise "sweet and simple girl" in bad light. Do the link-ups make him insecure? "What rubbish," he laughs, "I trust my woman. I really want Bipasha to go out and make friends."
And last we heard that the loving girlfriend is flying down to Pondicherry to spend some much-needed time with her boyfriend. Now will there be a happy ending to their love story? Let's hope for it.
