Speaking to media later, he said, "I believe in destiny and I am not guilty. Also the six days in jail were not easy. Life is very, very tough there. I spent most of my time there painting."
"I don't want to blame anybody. Whatever is in my destiny will happen and I will accept
it".

He recalled his tearful day in jail on Rakshabandhan. “I cried on Rakshabandhan. I didn't have anything to give my sisters. I said a filmi dialogue ke abhi mere pass ashirwaad ke siva kuch nahi hai. They laughed and said, ‘When you get out, we'll take whatever we want this dialogue doesn’t suit you bhai,” said
Salman.
