| Joking and cracking inside jokes or just plain glowing in each other’s company it seems that the couple can’t get enough of each other and close friends of AB Jr claim that Abhishek is head over heels in love with wife dear so much so that Abhi who has the reputation of being a professional in his work, is so smitten by gorgeous Aishwarya that recently disrupted his two day schedule for an advertisement and kept making rounds of Ash, who was shooting with Hrithik Roshan for Ashutosh Gowarika’s
Jodha- Akbar in the same studios. Abhi would leave the sets on the slightest pretext and go to Aishwarya’s sets, which created much trouble and discomfort to the crewmembers of the ad film.

As an insider from the sets in Karjat says, ‘ There was an entire set up of 120 people and we were supposed to start by 9am, but to our dismay, Abhishek arrived only at 1pm. Soon, it was time to break for lunch. He joined Ash for lunch and returned on several occasions after that. Every now and then, whenever there was even the slightest change to be made in the lighting, or backgrounds, he excused himself and left the sets. On every such occasion, we had to wait for half an hour for him to return.’

Aby baby seems to be finding little time at home with Ash on the other hand is refusing every role that gives her sexy styling recently she didn’t allot dates for ‘Raaste’ because the film portrays her in a very sexy mode. She has neither said yes nor no to the film and this has led the director to postpone shooting for the film from June 2007 to October 2007 and now to June 2008. Sources aver that now the producers are talking to Lara Dutta about doing that role instead of Aishwarya but nothing has been finalized yet.
As Shabbir Boxwala of Popkorn Films puts it diplomatically, ‘ Aishwarya Rai has read the script and has not refused the role. We are facing problems regarding dates. Abhishek is extremely busy. Due to his marriage in May, all his commitments were pushed forward. He has to complete those first.’
According to sources, Ash does not want to do hot sexy roles in any film after her marriage with Abhishek and ‘ Raaste’ is a film, which has a cross-country race in Mexico with lots of sexy scenes to be portrayed by Ash. But she is not openly denying the film because of good relationship of the producers with the Bachchans and also due to presence of hubby Abhishek in the main lead.
Earlier, Aishwarya had refused to do a film with Karan Johar’s Production Company, as her role required her to portray a hot and sexy looking girl as she was in Yash Raj’s Dhoom 2. Though Abhishek Bachchan was also present in the Karan’s film, Ash refused to relent; perhaps she still remembered the adverse reaction of Bachchans, especially of Jaya Bachchan about her lip lock scene with Hrithik in Dhoom 2.

'Raaste’ was launched by Popkorn Films in December 2006 and stars Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham in pivotal roles. John Abraham, as usual and expected, is playing a biker in the film while Abhishek Bachchan essays the role of a racing enthusiast. The buzz doing the rounds in the industry is that though the film has been postponed to make Ash do the film but it is unlikely that she will agree to do the hot sexy role in the film and hence a new actress in her place is almost a certainty.
Seems like Ash does not want to rub ma-in-law Jaya Bachchan in the wrong way. But is it not a double standards on the part of Bachchans that Abhi is allowed full freedom to essay sexy roles on the silver screen while naturally hot and fabulous Ash is not, what say?? But looks like Ash is more than willing to let go of the roles to keep her new family
happy.
