Friends close to both said, insisting that this time the wedding was truly on. The couple has not acknowledged a relationship, with Chopra supremely reclusive and Rani brushing aside personal questions from the media.

Chopra, who is Yash Raj's head honcho, is yet to come through his divorce with wife Payal. But that is expected to come any time soon now, friends said.

Our sources said: "A grand Bollywood style wedding is planned at Jodhpur's Umaid Bhawan palace. The venue has been chosen out of Mumbai to avoid the media's intrusion." The luxurious palace turned hotel has been entirely booked in advance.

A close friend of the Rani said,” The choice of the venue was in fact suggested by her. She has already been married off to Aditya many times previously by the media but this time it is genuinely true."

Rani is presently shooting for a Yash Raj presented and Kunal Kohli-produced and directed film with Saif Ali Khan and Amisha Patel. "She completes the shoot by December end. She has no other film on hand presently and post her Kunal Kohli film she shall be taking a long break for her marriage." adds the close friend.

"Her last week trip to Shirdi' Sai Baba temple along with family members was made actually after the final date for her marriage was fixed. She had gone there to seek his blessings as she is a big devotee of Sai Baba," adds the friend before signing off.
