Looks like the Bachchans are finally on their way back to winning their friends in the industry.

| First it was Big B's presence at the OSO special screening - perhaps a way of extending the olive branch to
SRK. This was followed by reports of Hrithik and
Abhi-Ash bonding big time at the Jodhaa Akbar wrap up party. Apparently the latest in a series of patch ups is Salman Khan. Yes
Salman.

Amitabh Bachchan and Salman Khan have ended their cold war, if our sources on the sets of God Tussi Great Ho are to be believed. The film is being presently shot in Film City, Mumbai.
Big B seems to have realized the importance of having powerful friends. The reports of him offering his hand of friendship to his daughter-in-law Aishwarya Bachchan former boyfriend Salman Khan is going around bollywood and we are given to believe, Salman has responded to this warmth. Sallu also paid Bachchan a visit on the sets of Alladin and spent an entire hour with him.
Now post Aishwarya Rai’s wedding, it would almost appear impossible to imagine Amitabh working with
Salman. The two stars had last shared screen space in the 2006 Ravi Chopra tearjerker Baabul and have not been interacting ever since for obvious reasons.
The biggest loser in this was a producer called Afzal Khan. Khan is the producer of a long delayed big budget project called God Tussi Great Ho. It stars
Amitabh, Salman and Priyanka Chopra in lead roles. Now it seems the two will be shooting together after more than a year.
"After the wedding I thought my film would never see the light of the day. But both Mr Bachchan and Salman have co-operated well," Khan said. The unit has just wrapped up a song, which also featured Sohail Khan.
This directorial debut of writer Rumi Jaffrey, produced by Afzal Khan, has been in the making for almost two years now. After Senior Bachchan's son Abhishek got married to Salman's ex-girlfriend Aishwarya
Rai, there was an ongoing cold war on sets between the senior actor and
Salman. However, normalcy seems to have been restored now.

Our source says, "Everyone on sets was surprised to see both Salman and Big B behave like best of pals since this week's shooting schedule began in Film City. Initially, the duo would ignore each other and go back to their respective vanity vans immediately after giving their shots without exchanging greetings. But now, the two actors were seen laughing and sitting together."
The source adds, "There was a long comic scene being shot between Big B and Sallu where the latter was finding it difficult to get his timing right. But Big B maintained his cool and after Salman finally got it correct, Bachchan gave Salman a big hug, much to the surprise of onlookers."
Sources close to Salman say, "Not only has Salman become a professional, but also has matured a lot. He has decided to stop acting whimsical any grudges."
If the two have become friendly, most industry insiders hope to see them together in more films as both have a massive individual fan following.

More than anything else, the film's producer, Afzal Khan who was going through a tough time managing joint dates of both the top stars, has heaved a sigh of relief after the two actors buried their differences.
However, Afzal Khan says, "There was no problem between Salman and Amitji, now and even earlier. The shoot is going on without any difficulty."
God Tussi Great Ho is a comedy based on Jim Carrey's Hollywood hit, Bruce Almighty, with Salman playing Carrey's role and Bachchan Sr. stepping into Morgan Freeman's part, playing God. The film also stars Priyanka Chopra.
Mean while if the insiders are to be believed two are likely to come together again for Ketan Desai’s yet–to-be titled film to be made under the banner of Ketan’s father Manmohan Desai’s banner. The film will also mark the return of Ketan Desai as a director.
As a source close to the Salman says, ‘ Salman and Ketan have been friends for a long time and have also worked together earlier in ‘ Yeh Hai Jalwa’ which Ketan had produced and David Dhawan directed. They have wanted to work together for a long time. So, when Ketan approached Salman, the latter immediately agreed to do the film, no questions asked. When Ketan told him that the film would also mark his return as director after a long gap and will also star Amitabh Bachchan, Salman was more than thrilled to be part of the film.’
So all speculation about the Bachchan’s cold war with – Salman & SRK seems nullified for the moment, as nothing is permanent in the industry hope to see these very talented people together in some great films for the sake of their fans.
