The 27-year-old Bebo has a three-film deal with Shree Ashtavinayak whose recent release Jab We Met has rocked the box office and returned both Shahid and Kareena to the Bollywood mainstream. Kareena who once singled out John Abraham as the one actor that she would not share screen space with because of his expressionless face, is now all set to appear with him in a film by Shree Ashtavinayak.

Kareena probably does not want to rock the boat in which she has finally journeyed to success. In an astounding turn around she now says, "I have no problem with John. I liked the basic idea and approved it but will hear the detailed script in Goa." You could attribute the change in heart of the Kapoor lass to her growing maturity but you would be wrong. It is the Rs 2 crores paycheck that is responsible.

Explaining the dynamics an insider tells TOI, "The deal is almost a two-crore package. That's high for an actress by industry standards." If Kareena really meant what she said about John on Koffee with Karan, she is not being faithful to the project. More likely, she did not mean what she said and said so merely to get attention, a measure of how mean Bollywood stars can really get.

That’s not all the gorgeous babe from famous Raj Kapoor clan has also decided to patch up with the macho Salman Khan and is reworking her dates to accommodate Sallubhai’s upcoming film ‘ Mr and Mrs Khanna’. In zeal to have a good relation with Salman Khan, Kareena has asked veteran filmmaker Priyadarshan to delay his film as she will be shooting in the middle of next year for Salman Khan’s film and won’t be able to give the dates for Priyan’s film.

Kareena is playing the female lead in ‘ Mr and Mrs Khanna’ while Salman Khan will play the male lead in the film, being produced by Sohail Khan. Earlier, Sohail Khan was in talks with Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone to play this role, but after the patch up between Kareena and Salman, he opted for Bebo, who responded by signing on the dotted lines. Presently, the production team is giving final touches to the script and the film is likely to go on the floors by the middle of next year.

However, this coming together of Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor became possible only after she broke up with long time beau Shahid Kapur. Kareena never had any personal issues with Salman Khan, but the two had stopped talking to each other due to Shahid Kapur, who had a strained relation with Salman due to some dispute. At that time Kareena was madly in love with Shahid and could not show any disrespect to Shahid’s feelings regarding Salman Khan.

But now things have completely changed for Bebo in this regard. Saif Ali Khan has entered into the life of Kareena Kapoor and the two are not hiding this fact anymore from public and, so she does not need to maintain any distance from Salman Khan. Salman Khan and Saif Ali Khan are on good terms and so Bebo need not refuse the film with macho Khan.

From no work to suddenly become one of the highest actress has matured her. Kareena’s future projects include films like Tashan with Akshay Kumar and Saif, Kambhakht Ishq with Akshay again, Golmaal Returns with Ajay Devgan, Agent Vinod with Saif, another with John Abraham and Karan Johar’s next.
