Sources say that all this started when Deepika Padukone would constantly tease Ranbir Kapoor about his various link ups with different girls like Sonam Kapoor, Nandita Mahtani etc, but the Kapoor scion did not want to talk about these things. On this, Deepika would start gossiping with unit members about Ranbir’s love affairs interspersed with juicy details. All such talks finally reached Ranbir and he got furious with the sexy bombshell.
Now the situation is so bad between Deepika and Ranbir that they interact only when both are needed for the shots and never hangout together. Ranbir Kapoor prefers to keep himself limited to his vanity van and watches movies or chats on the phone. The tussle between the two starlets has created a lot of trouble on the sets of the film.
It was entirely different in the beginning of the shooting in Australia. Deepika and Ranbir would chat for hours and hangout together whenever they were not shooting for the film and this had the working environment on the sets very lively and congenial. Though they had separated as lovers and had moved on with life, they continued to be good friends and their working chemistry was excellent.
It may be recalled that Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor were seeing each other during their early days. But as Ranbir was working with Sanjay Leela Bhansali in Saawariya and Deepika Padukone was the leading lady of Shah Rukh Khan’s Om Shanti Om, they could not continue with their relationship. In fact, the separation was caused mainly by the fear of Sanjay Bhansali that Ranbir’s liaison with Deepika would adversely affect his film and so he instructed Ranbir to not indulge in romance till the film releases.
At the same time, Deepika Padukone too moved on to dashing cricketer Yuvraj Singh and two have been frequently spotted with each other. Deepika was also spotted playing host at Yuvraj’s birthday party at a suburban hotel and was quite comfortable with Yuvi’s mother and other relatives. Later, Deepika was even seen celebrating her birthday with Yuvraj Singh in Australia.
Meanwhile Ranbir Kapoor was spotted with gorgeous Nandita Mahtani in Sydney. Ranbir and Nandita had dated each other earlier but things did not work out and it looked at the time that everything was over. But Nandita’s presence in the Australian city, where Ranbir Kapoor has been shooting for Yash Raj Films’ upcoming venture, says something else.
According to eyewitnesses Ranbir Kapoor was never left alone by Nandita Mahtani and whenever he was free from his shooting spell the two could be seen enjoying the city like a couple in love. Earlier, Ranbir had admitted to have a crush on Nandita, but never openly accepted beyond that. On the other hand, Nandita has always been maintaining that she and Ranbir Kapoor were family friends and hence seen together.
Another theory doing the rounds is that Nandita Mahtani came to Sydney to give him company only because of presence of his ex-girlfriend Deepika Padukone, who is now seen with dashing cricketer Yuvraj Singh.
It may be recalled that Deepika had left Nahar Pandya’s house under pressure from Ranbir to stay alone, but somehow things did not work out between them and they went their separate ways. Then there were talks of Ranbir Kapoor dating Sonam Kapoor, his ‘ Saawariya’ co –star. Sonam and Ranbir were even spotted together at the hot spots of the town several times. Ranbir Kapoor’s mother Neetu Kapoor was very fond of Sonam and she would spend hours talking with her at Rishi Kapoor’s house. But now it seems that was just a family affair as Sonam is daughter of Anil Kapoor and they are good friends with each other.
Seems like passed flame is troubling Deepika, as some insiders from the industry claim that she still have strong feelings for dashing Ranbir Kapoor and is quite jealous of his girlfriends from Sonam to Nandita. Hmm…hmm…whatever be the past of these two gorgeous persons the latest war of words between sexy bombshell and handsome hunk is going to be really … really…hot, but lets hope it does not affect Yash Raj’s film otherwise…. you know what I mean…
