Tell her that she looked good with Akshay and she is quick to tell you, “Oh, I don’t know about that but I’m okay with the idea of working with other actors. I want to make new pairs too. I’m open to new things and want to keep reinventing. Adi’s films are different; they have a Yash Raj sensibility to them. They are made in a particular way that blends Indian sensibilities with modern ethos and that is what I find appealing. And I’m still very young and want to do all youthful roles.” 

She is also making a guest appearance in Atul Agnihotri’s film Hello with Salman Khan. How is their chemistry as co-actors? “We had a lot of fun on the sets. Salman is a whole lot of fun to work with. This is a short appearance and we shot for the scenes in Karjat ,” says she.

The sizzling hot sexy bombshell of bollywood with an array of successful movies like Race, Welcome, Namastey London etc, is engaged in a sort of fierce cold war with Kareena Kapoor. The cold war is so intense that the two gorgeous ladies of bollywood compete in every area from charging Rs 6 crore per film to signing maximum number of films with reputed production houses to lapping up lucrative endorsement deals with big corporate houses.

Kareena Kapoor is furious with Katrina Kaif and thinks that she was deliberately trying to match every step of hers in tinsel town. For instance, when Bebo was negotiating a Rs six crore per film deal with Ashtavinayak, Katrina spread the rumor that she too would be signing a two film deal with Reliance for Rs twelve crore, which works out to be six crore per film, an amount equal to Bebo’s remuneration.

To rub salt to injury Katrina Kaif even announced that she had signed a two film deal with TV 18 for a whopping amount of six crore, while in reality there was nothing of the sort. Till date TV 15 has signed only Kareena Kapoor for a film for Rs three crore and no other actress was even approached for that role. This further infuriated Bebo and the cold war intensified between them.

But the height of absurdity in one-upmanship reached when Kareena Kapoor wanted to shift to her new pad at Khar in Rose Queen apartment and it was announced on the part of Katrina Kaif that she too would be shifting to the same locality as her beau Salman Khan had gifted a flat to her.

Bebo is shocked at Katrina’s unflattering comparisons and feels miserable about this unhealthy competition. She has been keeping mum all the while only because of Salman Khan, who is Katrina Kaif’s boyfriend. But now Bebo is looking for a suitable opportunity to strike back on the relatively newcomer Katrina Kaif and more firework is expected in their relationship.

However, the industry pundits insist that Bebo should take this irritating competition from Katrina Kaif in a sporting manner and should not overreact to it. After all Kareena Kapoor has already proved her mettle in bollywood by doing commercial films as well serious films like ‘Chameli’ and ‘Omkara’. Bebo can carry a film on her shoulders at the box office and come out with flying colors. Her acting prowess was well recognized in ‘Chameli’ and ‘Omkara.’

On the other hand, Katrina Kaif has yet to prove her mettle at the box office as she has been playing only a glam doll in her films till now and the stories never revolved around her. So Katrina cannot be said to be capable enough to carry a film on her own at the box office.

Hmm….hmm….whatever it is but destiny seems to be in favor of sizzling hot sexy siren Kat ….who looked so hot in ‘Race’…..but will she be able to race ahead of Bebo??
