The Shahrukh that Aamir refers to, as you may have guessed, is a dog, which belongs to the caretaker of Aamir's house.
"When I bought this house it came with the caretakers and their dog! Apparently Shahrukh (the actor) was shooting for a commercial in this house a few years ago, and that very day the caretakers bought a pup… and named him Shahrukh. What are the chances of me buying a house, which comes with a dog, called Shahrukh!!!"
"Some of my friends claim that I bought the house just because of the dog. I would have to be a serious fan of Shahrukh's to want to do that. Your guess…"
"All I can say is I'm waiting for him [Shah Rukh] to come over."
Aamir and his family are chilling out at Panchgani, to allow Aamir's hamstring injury to heal. "My hamstring muscle seems to be healing, slowly but surely," says Aamir.
Aamir's entry, written in the vein of the collective digs that Shah Rukh and Saif Ali took at their industry colleagues during the Filmfare Awards Night.
Aamir ends with "Well Shahrukh is once again begging for my attention, so let me get back to him. He smells too much, I think he needs a bath. "Heel boy, heel."
Few days before after making the tabloid press squirm with his barbed wit, in rejoinders posted on his blog, refuting their past insinuations against him, Amitabh Bachchan had provided King Khan a gentle reality check.
Armed with statistical data and graphs on TV viewer-ship of reality game shows, Amitabh indirectly delivers a deflating pinprick to Shah Rukh's ego.
In the ruse of seeking opinion from his readers on reality TV shows, and the veracity of TV ratings, he shows how Shah Rukh's KBC 3 fared poorly compared to his KBC 1 and 2, and how Paanchvi Pass… has completely failed to stir viewer interest.
"KBC 1 ran non stop for almost two years and then with an adequate break the 2 and the 3. I am unable to understand its falling interest as the graphs show despite the fact that they were presented by bigger and more popular stars, namely ShahRukh," dead pans Amitabh.
"And now to see 'Panchvi Pass', or as one rival channel executive sniggered, 'Panchvi Fail', after its not too encouraging numbers, facing relative lower ratings is what I wish to debate on and would love to have inputs from readers," he wrote.
The bloggers are beginning to 'hound' Shah Rukh, we think. Well what you give comes back to you right SRK!
