Sources from the production unit say that Katrina Kaif, who plays the female lead in ‘Yuvaaraj’, was supposed to join Salman for the spell. Salman had to leave for Australia after completing the shooting for Subhash Ghai’s ‘Yuvraaj’ at Film City, as the shooting for ‘Main aur Mrs Khanna’ was in progress there. But he was fuming with rage, as Katrina Kaif had yet not arrived at the studio.

Katrina arrived late on the sets and Sallubhai was already in bad mood. He immediately entered her van and locked the door from inside and soon he could be heard shouting and abusing Katrina for her photograph with Akshay Kumar in the IPL match. Sallu did not like Katrina’s presence with Akki in the match and was questioning about that, but when Kat tried to reason out something, he flew into rage and started hitting her.

Says a production assistant, “We could hear Salman yelling at Katrina. He was overheard telling her, ‘How can you treat me like this, what the f**k do you think you were doing with Akshay in that match… now you’re here like nothing has happened and trying to act all cool!’ This went on for a long time. Finally, there was silence.”

The source further adds, “Katrina was quiet even as Sallu raved and ranted. Once or twice, she tried to reason with the actor but to no avail. Katrina was crying and what she was saying was inaudible. But she surely said something, which pissed Salman off even more because we heard a loud slap! Which was followed by many more.”

The production team was in a quandary and wanted to finish the shots with both the stars. They knocked on the door and requested the couple to come out and complete the shoot, but to no avail. Finally, Salman Khan emerged out of Kat’s van after a good three-hour and straight headed for his car and left. Katrina came out of the van after twenty minutes and she, too, left the venue without shooting a single scene.

It may be recalled that Salman Khan had hit the gorgeous Katrina even before this incident and this was not for the first time. Earlier, he had slapped the lady in full public view in a popular coffee house while having coffee with her, and the stories of their relation going kaput had begun circulating after that. But somehow that did not happen and it survived.

The buzz doing the rounds in the industry is that Salman Khan does not like the on-screen hit pair of Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif and does not want Katrina to work with him. But producers love to repeat this pair after their thundering success at the box office with ‘Namastey London.’ Akki and Katrina have been paired again by Vipul Shah in his upcoming movie ‘Singh Is Kinng’ and this too has been irking Sallubhai. Kat’s picture with Akki at IPL match was perhaps the proverbial last straw.

Even Aishwarya Rai, Salman Khan’s ex girlfriend and now Big B’s daughter-in-law, alleged that her boyfriend had subjected her to physical violence. The grapevine was abuzz at that time that Salman Khan’s violent temper was the main reason for their relationship going wrong and Aishwarya ditching the macho Khan for Abhishek Bachchan.

Hmm….hmm….seems Sallubhai loves his bad boy image and does not want to learn anything from past mistakes….but what if history repeats itself and Kat follows in the footsteps of Ash ….only Sallubhai will be responsible for that, no??
