The sizzling hot Kareena and Chote nawab had heated arguments over a revealing outfit she was supposed to wear during her performance at the IIFA awards function. Saif did not wanted Bebo to wear such a sexy gown during the performance, but Bebo was adamant and requesting him not to make an issue out of it. Bebo was in Bangkok to attend IIFA awards function, while Saif had flown in from London for a few hours for her performance.

However, Kareena Kapoor went ahead with her performance at the function in the same outfit but Saif Ali, who was also present for her performance, could be seen sulking and not enjoying the show. Once Kareena Kapoor returned after her performance, Saif and she were closeted in her van for a while.

But Saif Ali Khan soon emerged out of the van and headed for airport to catch his flight to London. Kareena was seen pleading with him to stay for the award ceremony where she was to receive the award, but he did not oblige and left. An eyewitness present at the venue reveals, “Bebo was heard arguing with Saif for not taking a later flight. He was heard apologising. She was miffed that he’d come all the way and could not stay for her special moment. Saif arrived late at the event and stayed there very briefly.” After Saif left, Kareena was spotted glued to her mobile having conversations with him.

Sources say that even Saif coming to Bangkok was quite unexpected and Bebo had no information beforehand. In fact, Saif Ali Khan was shooting in London for his upcoming home production with Imtiaz Ali and had already informed the organizers of the function that he would not be available for the show.

The buzz doing the rounds in the industry is that everything is not hunky- dory between bollywood’s hottest couple they have been arguing over trivial matters more fiercely and the recent argument in Bangkok over the outfit was just a continuation of that.

The insiders reveal that of late Kareena has been feeling uncomfortable with Saif over possessive behaviour towards her. Saif does not want to leave her alone in any matter and accompanies her at functions, awards, premieres etc. Initially, it looked very romantic to Bebo and she enjoyed the undivided attention, but in the long term it is creating problem between them.

From taking a couple of months off to accompany Kareena on her filming to late night dinners and drives, the two lovers can’t seem to be separated. And it looks like the chhote nawab has things covered for even when he is not around. Saif has gifted Bebo a special locket meant to protect her. “Saif gifted Kareena a gold locket. The locket has an inscription in Arabic, which goes back many centuries. The verse when translated is a saying meant to protect the person wearing it,” says a source.
