A source informed, "Salman came to stage no. 4 at Mehboob Studios and inquired about Abhishek’s whereabouts. When a production guy showed him Abhishek’s vanity van, without hesitation Salman immediately proceeded towards his van." He enquired him about Abhi’s forthcoming film and during that conversation; he came to know about Drona. Abhishek even showed him the promos and posters of Drona, which he had stored on his laptop.

Looking at those pictures, suddenly the painter in Salman woke up and he expressed Abhishek his desire to put him in campus. Abhi too got excited listening to Sallu’s offer and they got engrossed in discussion regarding the poster, which Salman will paint. On looking at them, one could have easily drawn the conclusion that they had a good time together.

Insiders believe that Salman is moving ahead with a new aim in his head. He wants to bury the sour memories of past and wishes to establish a new relationship with Ash. With the aim of making peace with his ex flame, he has extended hand of amity to Ash’s hubby Abhishek Bachchan. Few days back, he also commented that he does not want to hear any ill about Abhi’s wife as he respects her a lot. And now the recent talk is that he mingled quite well with Abhishek.

But Katrina dislikes Sallu’s move of friendship towards Ash and her hubby. That Salman and Aishwarya were couple in the past haunts Katrina still today, Katrina does not want Salman to establish a new relationship with those people who has hurt him and left him in mid-way, helpless. This juicy bit of news comes straight from the close friend of couple, well, it so happens that of all the paintings our gifted artist Sallubhai has created and preserved at home, a certain work is his all-time favourite. The painting, we are told, has got something to do with Aishwarya. So much so, that it bothered Katrina to no end, this painting was a major bone of contention between the two (methinks there are too many bones in their relationship these days) and any argument between the two inevitably leads up to the canvas. After her insisting that he get rid of it, Sallubhai, being 'all-heart', refused to do so till recently.

Salman is a painter by heart and he does not allow any barrier to come in his way of creativity and therefore in spite of Katrina’s denial, he has gifted Abhi the portrait of Drona. This is not the first time that Sallu has gifted his painting to someone. Earlier also he has gifted painting to Amrita Arora for her new home and even gifted Ranbir a painting of his late grandpa, Raj Kapoor at Dus Ka Dum.

Reportedly Sallu feels pretty close to the Bachchans now Salman has suddenly discovered a new fondness for Abhi Baby. Although he won’t forgive Vivek Oberoi, Salman is more than willing to embrace Abhishek like a younger brother. “I’m very fond of Abhishek,” Salman tells all his friends these days. And so he won’t hear a word against Abhishek’s wife Aishwarya Rai either.

As we had reported, even on Katrina’s birthday party, the argument between Shah Rukh Khan and Salman got serious when Shah Rukh passed some stinging comments about Aishwarya. According to an eyewitness, after the ugly spat at the party, Salman has been heard telling his friends, “Whatever happened between Ash and me is over. I’m really fond of the Bachchans. Abhishek is a buddy and I really like him. I won’t have anyone speak badly about his wife.”

Our source says further, “Earlier, ever since his break-up with Aishwarya, Salman had been obsessing about her before all their mutual friends. Salman would deliberately seek out people who were close to Aishwarya and endlessly ask questions about her and narrate his woeful tales about how badly she treated him. There came a time when friends who knew them both started avoiding him.”
