One person who doesn’t seem thrilled with Katrina success is none other than Malaika Arora Khan. Katrina has many advantages over Malaika. Katrina is the most desirable actor today and Malaika has miles to go to reach to the level of Katrina though she started her career way before Kat entered bollywood. Besides making her place in bollywood Katrina has managed to win the heart of most desirable Khan Salman, close friend of Salman insist the macho actor is totally smitten by lady love Katrina and is ready to do anything to see that million dollar smile on her face.

Katrina is one of eight siblings, all girls. Her mother is British and her father is from Jammu and Kashmir who has since acquired British citizenship. The actress spent her formative years in Hawaii but later moved to London. She started modelling accidentally when she was in Hawaii at the age of 14. The Latest buzz in bollywood suggests that it’s none other than hubby Arbaaz Khan who opted for Katrina over wife Malaika. Casting Katrina brings profit to the filmmakers and no one would like to take the risk by casting Malaika. Arbaaz is venturing into production and wished to cast Katrina in his film but wife Malaika is dead against his decision as she shares a cold vibes with Kat. But Arbaaz like any other producers does not want to incur loss by casting his wife.

Arbaaz Khan is adamant that he would not replace Kat with any other heroines and this created a rift between the husband and the wife. Arbaaz's wife Malaika Arora Khan is not happy at all. Says a source, "Apparently, Malaika was supposed to be the lead heroine in Arbaaz’s first film as producer. But with the recent success achieved by Katrina, Arbaaz has decided that it would be a better option financially to replace his wife with his brother’s future wife."

"As one would expect this has not gone down well with Malaika who is now threatening to leave him if he does the intended. Malaika is very jealous of Katrina and it is common knowledge that the two girls share cold vibes," added the source.

Katrina next is Subhash Ghai's 'Yuvvraaj', which is about the arrogance and overconfidence of contemporary youth. Set to release in October, critics are confident that Katrina has another hit on the anvil in 'Yuvvraaj'.

She has also moved on to bigger banners and has teamed up with John Abraham and Neil Mukesh for a Yash Raj Films' project. Apart from that, she will be seen in Rajkumar Santoshi's next film, 'Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani', with Ranbir Kapoor.

Mumbai-based film critic says, "Katrina has had a fortunate choice of films" even though she "had a rather unfortunate start with 'Boom'."

"She is a stunning looking actress and so far she is doing well with her glam doll image. We did see glimpses of an actor in her performance-oriented roles such as in 'Namastey London'," critic explained.

Besides spinning gold at the box office, Katrina also has an assorted line-up of brand endorsements. The most downloaded Indian actress in cyber space, the actress created waves when she replaced Aishwarya Rai as the brand ambassador of Nakshatra recently.

Katrina is the perfect representation of the young, trendy and fashionable woman that filmmakers are targeting these days. Katrina lends a refreshing look to the film and having her on board will be and advantage for Arbaaz Khan but will wife Malaika gives in to Arbaaz wishes only time will tell!
