Katrina who worries what the future might hold for her personally has now begun thinking, that one way to repair matters between them is to accept him the way he is and give in to his greatest desire that someone should love him so much that she actually gives up her career. If that were to happen, Salman would love to settle down with her and the much-awaited wedding bells would ring in the Khan household. Remember, Salman has never before been as keen to marry as he is with Katrina.

To understand what has gone wrong with their relationship, one has to understand that when Salman and Katrina met around five years ago, and fell head over heels in love with each other, Katrina was just a teenager. Over time, she has gone from being a girl to becoming a woman, she has seen several ups and down in life and she has made tremendous headway in her career.

Obviously what seemed all grown up to her then, like say Salman’s drinking and bratty behaviour, now seems childish to her. In Salman’s defence, it is important to say that it can’t have been easy to watch an adoring girlfriend change to a critical one. The cold vibes between the two was more than obvious during the promotional events of their recently released Yuvvraaj. As we all know Katrina played Salman’s love interest in Yuvvraaj but the serene beauty was missing from the promotional events and rather another new babe was seen on Salman’s arm. She is his new heroine Zarine Khan who resemblance very much like Katrina .Kat was away from the event as she was busy shooting for Raj Kumar Santoshi’s film at Yash Raj Studios till late that evening.

Any new entrant is usually kept hidden from media but Salman has showcases Zarine to all present during the event to get their feedback as does she looks like Katrina. A source said, "Salman had an exclusive trial for close family and friends at Globus he introduced Zarine to everyone present, but he also kept asking them if she looked like Katrina. The two seemed very comfortable with each other.” Everyone actually accepted Katrina with Salman but the actor has surprised all by walking in with Zarine.

Though Salman Khan's relationship with Katrina Kaif is going stable for five years now, the bad boy of Bollywood still do not miss an opportunity to mingle with others, especially mingling with any new entrant. The newcomers too immediately fall for him as he is Bollywood top-notch actor and always ready to lend his helping hand. His leniency towards others looks like that he is not serious about kat and taking her only for granted. It won't be wrong to say that in the process of blending with others, he is cheating Katrina.

Though in the past many ladies were seen in Salman's arm, the latest being Zarine Khan, holding hand in hand, they were spotted in many parties and Salman was seen at his high mood introducing his new lady of Veer to all.

Salman's generosity does not end here, he was also seen in close connection with Miss Universe UK 2008 Lisa Lazarus. She is working with Zarine in the same project. Sources informed that when Lisa was struggling to get a particular dance step right and when she fall flat with her face down, Sallu was the first to ran to her and put forward his hand. To get the step right, he holded her hips and made her move accordingly.

Salman seems ignorant about the fact that in the process of helping others, he is hurting Katrina and creating a distance. But all said and done Salman has his reasons to be distant from his long time girlfriend as time and again she chooses her career over marriage and Salman being the macho Khan cant take this rejection no matter how much he adores Kat. Friends of the couple wish they find some way to keep this relationship from falling apart as Katrina is the only woman who is being successful to calm down the hot headed Khan to certain extent.
