Salman has gone one step further — we hear he is buying Katrina a huge apartment in Mumbai’s star-studded neighbourhood of Bandra, to be decorated by Hrithik Roshan’s wife Suzanne as special gift for his darling Katrina.
According to the property dealer, “the deal is almost finalised. After an intensive search Salman picked this flat. And he wants it ready by February 14.” Besides the location, the architecture of the building appealed to Salman, says the dealer. “He is in talks with Suzanne to do the interiors. Salman wants the place to have a mix of Indian and European feel,” says our source.
One of Suzanne’s assistants confirms the news. “We’ve been asked to study the interior plans of a flat in Bandra. It’s a four-BHK apartment with two balconies,” Francina says. “The living room will have a fireplace, with portrait space on the wall. Salman is keen to have an all-white décor for the living room, while the kitchen will have vibrant shades,” she adds.
The dealer reveals that Salman wants to make a fresh portrait of Katrina and display it on the main wall of the living area. Earlier, he had done a painting of her look in last year’s release, Yuvvraaj.
Of lately Girlfriend Katrina is showering all her attention on Sallu, the actress, we hear, has flown to Chandigarh to be with Salman while he was shooting for 'London Dreams'. Considering that Katrina seldom visits Salman on the sets, this new development has caught the unit of the film off guard, especially since she was there when Salman's co-star, Asin was also scheduled to shoot
there.
It can be remembered that Katrina had visited Salman on Veer's sets while her look-alike Zarine Khan was there. Now, she has reached Chandigarh. One may wonder if Katrina is keeping a check on her beau while he is in the company of other female co-stars. "Of course, why would she otherwise fly off to Chandigarh on the day when Asin was scheduled to shoot there? She recently spent the New Year with Salman and guess she didn't have enough of him," our source says.
The source further reveals that the 'London Dreams' Team including Salman and Ajay Devgan, who play best friends, have a long shooting schedule in Chandigarh till January 15. "Katrina is expected to stay there for a short period. As Salman shoots, Katrina keeps him company on the sets," says the source.
Earler this month when Katrina was shooting for Priyadarshan's Dhan Dhana Dhan Salman drove onto the sets in his white Toyota Land Cruiser. The actor had come 'just to catch up' with his ladylove. Interestingly, Salman was shooting for Veer that day and the sets of his film is a stone's throw away from the sets where Katrina was shooting. So it's often that the love-struck duo keep hopping onto each others sets for a quiet moment of togetherness, not wanting to miss a single opportunity of being in each other's company.
Friends close to the couple say that our Sallu bhai is going all out to vow his ladylove and to make her happy; Salman has stopped talking to Brazilian model Bruna Abdullah though he was very fond of her. The buzz doing the rounds is that Katrina was responsible for this strange treatment to Bruna, as she was not very comfortable with the rumours of Sallubhai being very friendly towards the leggy beauty. Kat put her foot down on the issue, and Salman, who is famous for never deserting his friends, was forced to keep distance from the gorgeous beauty of Latin America.
The insiders reveal that it was only when Salman Khan agreed to shun Bruna Abdullah from his list of friends that Katrina returned to celebrate New Year with him in India. It seems that Kat is very happy with Salman’s actions as recently the duo were caught having a burger date while returning from Salman's Panvel farmhouse. Before reaching their destination, the duo stopped at McDonalds and ordered burgers, they chatted while having them but soon their privacy got hindered when fans gathered around them.
Instead of getting frustrated over the interference of the fans, the couple entertained them. They answered their questions and pleasantly gave away autographs. Their short stay at the fast food centre lingered long. Their stop at McDonalds did not only satisfy their hunger but also relaxed their mood by interacting with their fans.
And to think that their pyar bhari kahani is coming to an end is just so not convincing!
