Katrina shares similar sentiments for Jha, who has helmed films like Gangajal and Apaharan in the past. "Prakash Jha is highly intelligent and highly interested in his project. A film like Rajneeti is not something where I can just jump and say - 'Sir, my hair is done, my costume is done and I'm ready', something I can do in most films that are comic capers.

In Rajneeti Katrina sports a simple and de-glamorised look in a crisp cotton sari and with her hair neatly tied in a ponytail. "For films like his, one has to research clothes. I can't decide on my own what I want to wear or what I would prefer. I have to follow the character I am playing. Rajneeti is a very grounded, a very rooted film, and so I am going to be dedicating a little more time as the project requires it," she said.

Her mended bridges with one-time archrival, Kareena Kapoor is also hitting the news lines. Insider’s reveals they were so engrossed in catching up that they even made their beaus, Saif and Sallu jealous. “Bebo and Kat do different films, which is perfect for them as there's no competition." Say’s a common friend.

When asked about their special dosti, Katrina says "We had great fun at Amu's party. Bebo is very sweet and supportive of me. She is my inspiration on how to have a fab, healthy body. Kareena inspires me. She was more than kind and gave me tips on how to have a healthier body."

Her charitable act on the sets of Santoshi’s Ajab Prem Ki Gajab Kahani where she distributed Rs 5 lakh among the unit crew including the technicians and spot boys has surprised many. This is the first time Katrina has acted on her instincts and has done something like this. She didn't want people to advertise her little act and asked everyone not to make a big deal out of it.

While handing out the cash, she personally talked to every person and commended him on his job. Director Santoshi was also zapped, as he'd never witnessed an actor showing his/her appreciation towards a films' team in this manner. There were 300 people in the unit and Katrina called the entire unit by their names on the last day and handed out the cash to each one personally.

Katrina is also into health foods and diets these days and wants to put all that thought into a restaurant, which will serve her favourite food. Talking about her dream project, Kat says, "I want to open a restaurant in partnership. I am on the lookout for a business partner. I don't have the time to handle the day-to-day nitty-gritty of the business though I do intend being there as much as possible.”

The actress is clear about what she wants. "I want the restaurant to be styled and designed something along the lines of a London or New York high-end coffee shop somewhere classy and cool. I want my place to serve really good coffees. It's sometimes difficult to get a really good cappuccino which I love here."

Katrina wants her place to have a comfortable feel where people can meet and hang out during the day and come to for a great dinner at night. "There will be several comfortable couches and chairs to sit on and read books and stuff and the perfect place to go, get work done and then relax over several coffees or drinks."
