Sources close to the handsome hunk say that Vivek was so attracted to classy Vidya that when he learnt of her shooting in the Film City, he went over to meet her. Though, Vivek was himself shooting for a film at the Film City, but he managed to spare some time for the lovely lass. Whenever Vidya would be busy with her shooting, Vivek would constantly be in touch through SMSes.

The grapevine has it that Vivek Oberoi is very serious about Vidya Balan and wants her to meet his parents as soon possible. Vivek wants to take approval of his parents about Vidya as he wants to take his relationship to another level.

Earlier, Vidya Balan had been linked to John Abraham during the making of ‘Salaam-e-Ishq’. The relationship had resulted in sleepless nights to John Abraham’s beau Bipasha Basu, who was preparing to dump John on the issue. However, somehow the relationship survived and John –Bipasha reunited.

However, this time Bipasha Basu is especially relieved after knowing about Vidya-Vivek relationship. The sensuous bong bombshell Bips does not want the repeat of ‘Salaam-e-Ishq’ between John Abraham and Vidya during the making of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming film ‘Chenab Gandhi’. This is a big project and John Abraham was not prepared to refuse the film due to Vidya factor (as Bips would insist).

Even during the Canada spell of Aziz Mirza’s ‘Kismet Konnection’, Vidya Balan was linked to hero of the film Shahid Kapur. She was said to be one of the main causes for the Shahid-Kareena break up. However, Vidya-Shahid relationship could not survive for long, as Sania Mirza had butted in between Vidya and Shahid.

Vivek Oberoi’s past liaison with Aishwarya Rai, too, was not successful and she dumped him for Abhishek Bachchan. However, that phase of his life still haunts Vivek Oberoi as Salman Khan still refuses to forgive and forget the infamous press conference episode by Vivek (wherein Vivek had insulted him for Ash).

Though Vidya Balan has been missing in action ever since she finished making publicity rounds for her last release Kismat Konnection. Many thought that it was the negative reactions to the film that forced Vidya to get underground but the actress denies to all these rumours and says she busy shooting. "I was shooting in Wai for Ishqiya, so I wasn't here. I had just come down to Mumbai for a day in between," says Vidya. 

Bollywood's good girl will be seen in a negative role for the first time in her forthcoming film Ishqiya opposite Arshad Warsi. "It is a different character from the kind of characters I have been portraying so far. But in every film I have tried to do something different so I think this is in keeping with that," adds Vidya.

Meanwhile the buzz around Bollywood is that Vidya has lost out on two films because of Bipasha Basu. The first being Hook Ya Crook opposite John Abraham. "It is true that I was offered the role but due to some problem I couldn't do it and whatever is said is untrue," claims the actress. The second movie that she lost was Lamha opposite Sanjay Dutt. The movie now features Bipasha Basu. "Yes, I was approached to do the film, but I am happy now that they are doing the film with her," says Vidya. When asked about the new love of her life Vidya refused to entertain the question with strict “No comment”.
