The presence of Jaya Bachchan, one of the important members of Bachchan camp in the cheering crowd of Shah Rukh Khan, is being taken in the industry as the coming closer of King Khan and Bachchans. Besides Jaya Bachchan, other biggies like Yash Chopra and Uday Chopra, Rishi Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra, Kajol were also present to encourage Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan walking the ramp.
The viewers were also surprised by the cool confidence shown by Gauri Khan, Shah Rukh Khan’s wife, who was walking the ramp for the first time. But, she was not nervous at all, and in fact, showed herself to be as a cool and confident professional in her new avatar.
However, the industry was more interested in knowing who was present during Shah Rukh Khan’s show and what did it mean for the future of bollywood. This was especially so, as Shah Rukh Khan was seen to be isolated by Salman Khan when he had successfully assembled almost all of bollywood for his ramp walk at the couture week earlier.
But the presence of Jaya Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan and Yash Chopra clearly sent a strong message to Salman Khan camp that if need be Shah Rukh Khan can bank on the support of the first family of bollywood, the Bachchans.
The buzz doing the rounds in the industry is that Bachchans favour Shah Rukh Khan more out of compulsion than their liking for him. In fact, when Bachchans have to choose one of the two camps headed by Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, they would always go for SRK.
This is so despite the fact that it was Shah Rukh Khan who had snatched ‘Kaun Banega Crorpeati’ from Big B and started the long drawn cold war between two of biggest bollywood icons. The reason is obviously Salman Khan’s past relation with Aishwarya Rai, who is now Bachchan bahu, and would not approve of any relationship with macho Khan.
When Shah Rukh geared up to face the media queries this is what he had to say "None of you know the real me yet". Khan said he could never get bored of awards and recognition. "I am still like a child who seeks attention. So even if people accuse me of buying awards, it doesn't matter. I am happy to receive them. It's all in appreciation of my work over the last two decades." Shah Rukh said.
About his ramp walk Shah Rukh said, " My wife is the biggest star on the ramp. I am just walked on the side for her friend Karan Johar."
Shah Rukh said he had immense respect for Salman Khan's Being Human and wished the actor were given credit for the foundation rather than his fashion show.

When asked if he would extend the some love to a certain Salman Khan; this is what he had to say "I find it silly talking about Salman. The media is giving far more importance to these so-called wars, than the stars themselves. All of us are secure in our space and just trying to do our own work. Beyond a certain stage none of us needs cheap publicity to promote our films".
Shah Rukh said he was bored of the same gossip being churned out again and again. "I am sure my friends from the media are also tired of these questions. But there is always some new journalist out there who doesn't want to be left behind and digs out the same old stuff."
Khan added, "Just like I need to work on fresher scripts, even the media needs to come up with newer beats. Try some positive stories and trust me you will have a huge response. Given our experience, the media can engage Bollywood stars for some really thought provoking insightful stories – instead of the same gossip. But I am an entertainer, so if writing about me entertains anyone, please go ahead."
Shah Rukh signed off on a lighter note by saying, "For the last 15 years it seems I am fighting with someone or the other. Makes me wonder if I am a bad person. But I live in a house full of so much love and 99 per cent of the time even the media has been so nice to me, I think I have done fine. Please try to know more about my films. Else don't mess with me. Remember I have a black belt."
