Imran Khan:
Shooting for I Hate Luv Stories is a riot. Imran and I are like two puppies always getting at each other. Our pairing is similar to the Dimple Kapadia-Rishi Kapoor one in Bobby. We’re both young, we’re constantly pulling each others’ legs on the set. It’s a young fun pairing that is vibrant.

Abhay Deol: 
He’s a fabulous performer. Aisha wouldn’t be the same without Abhay in it. He keeps feeding me humus with carrots/cucumber. And I find our chemistry similar to the Julia Roberts-Richard Gere one in Pretty Woman. Abhay is more mature and grounded than I am. Also he is very intelligent. I love spending time with him on sets. 

Abhishek Bachchan:
Well, what can I say? I think I played the perfect Bittu to him in Delhi 6. We haven’t been offered any other film together as yet. Those reports that I was offered Ashutosh Gowarikar’s Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Se before Deepika Padukone signed it are untrue. Of course, I’d love to work with Abhishek again.

What’s the quirkiest piece of jewellery that you possess?
I have a beautiful headpiece. It is very reminiscent of the Seventies. It's by House of Harlow, which is designed by Nicole Richie. It is beautiful.

What's been your most precious jewellery buy till date?
A pair of solitaire earrings.

And what's the one piece that you would like to have in your box?
I think it would be a single-line solitaire necklace, for sure! I think every woman wants that.

How is Aisha coming along?
I am actually shooting for Aisha right now. I have 25 days left for production and then post-production will start. The release will most probably be between April and June.

The best thing about the film is...
The characters have layers. It is not completely white like our Hindi film heroines. It is a very good story and also the fact that there are so many women on the set. I like that about a movie. I like women (laughs).

What's your equation with your Aisha co-star Abhay Deol?
He is a brilliant actor! It is nice working with actors who know how to give and take. Abhay Deol is a giving actor. He is not selfish. It is very easy to work with someone like him.

What are your releases this year?
I Hate Luv Stories produced by Dharma and directed by Punit Malhotra. It stars Imran Khan.

You’ve shot a commercial with your dad. Is a film around the corner?
No, I am not acting in any film with him.

If you were a director, which film would you like to remake and cast your father in?
It is a very difficult question, actually. I would really, really like to make Charlie Chaplin’s life with him. I think my dad would be really good in that role!
