Aishwarya, who got a day off from her busy schedule, flew down to Goa to be with hubby Abhishek, and whilst she was there, she had her first twitter experience. Abhishek is completely hooked on to twitter and also seems to have roped Ash into it. The actress communicated through hubby Abhishek’s twitter account: “This is officially my first tweet. I got a day off, so had to swing by and see my baby. I’ll be back to work tomorrow.”
Ash feels herself blessed to get married to Abhi. “Life has been wonderful till now. It is not actually possible to pick one sweetest memory. I thank God immensely for the number of experiences that I have had through my career. Like this year, I was privileged to get the Padmashree. I feel I am blessed. However, I have to say that my marriage is my sweetest memory,” say’s the beautiful actress.
Aishwarya does not feel the need to change anything in life “Time flies. It is all about now for me. I always give my best to now and live it to the fullest- be it in front of the camera, work place or when I am at home with my loved ones. Lifestyle is getting so hectic it is important to live in the present.”
Ash does not regret about her past or anything bad that happened in the present, “I don’t believe in regrets. Life has definitely been a learning curve. Whether good or bad, it is important to live your experiences and learn from them.”
Aishwarya is visibly tired of the one question everyone seems to be asking her — whether the recent weight gain indicates good news? “Oh, I knew this question will pop-up. We are married and in due time will be parents too. When it happens, you will definitely know. Right now it’s not the time.”
Asked about qualities that would make Abhishek a good father, Aishwarya laughed and said "Everybody has been asking me if Abhishek will be a good pa I think it's silly for me to be even making the statement. It's given - I married the man. So obviously I have the conviction in the husband he is or the father he will be," say’s Ash.
"He is very real, very rooted and very human - which I absolutely relate to. His values are evident for everybody to see. We have known each other for so many years. I've seen him with his niece and nephew since the time they were babies. He is so great with kids and I've seen that for the longest time with (his sister Shweta's children) Navya (Naveli) and Agastya. I have no doubts on him whatsoever." Adds the gorgeous Diva.
Asked whether she would want a daughter or a son, she said: "Come on...Aren't you like moving at a really fast pace...! Whatever god has in store for us in life (will come)... Life itself is a blessing, let alone to have opportunity to be able to bring a life into this world. It's really not in our hands ...its in god's hands. I hope I am just blessed with that experience, I am really looking forward to it and we will certainly cherish it," she added.
She has two big movies—Raavan and Guzarish in the pipeline, but what Aishwarya seems most upbeat about is the opportunity to play the lead in Ben Kingsley’s Mumtaaz. “It’s an honour to work with someone like Ben Kingsley. The film is however still in the scripting stage.”
She is all praises for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Guzarish, “Sanjay’s characters are so strong that it is immaterial how much screen time you get. This is my third film with Sanjay and it has the strongest characterisation.”
On the subject of rumours about her considering doing filmmaker Javed Khan’s venture with ex-beau Salman Khan, Ash chose to stay mum while her spokesperson had this to say. “No way. No such movie is happening. Publicity seekers just cook up stories. Ash has no time to pay attention to such things.”
