“Gauri has been approached for commercials earlier but somehow things never worked out. This commercial with Shah Rukh will be her first full-fledged assignment in front of the camera,” added the source. Now that Shah Rukh is taking time off from shooting for his various endorsements to concentrate on RA.One, wife Gauri Khan is exploring unchartered territory. She has bagged her first brand endorsement with her husband.
Shahrukh Khan and Gauri had been married for the last 19 years but with every passing day, King Khan’s love for his better-half multiplies. He feels privilege to have a wife like Gauri who looks after him and his children with so affectionately. He pours his heart out and reveals that he can’t think one day without Gauri. He is thankful to God that he has blessed him with such a lovely family with whom he can shares his sorrow and happiness, failure and success.
“I think God has been really kind to me. I treasure my family without whom I would not be who I am today. They have sacrificed for me and they are the reason why I love going back home. For me, success is very important but being successful along with having a great family is necessary. You need to share your success with your family because it is not just for you that you are working,” Shahrukh tells.
Shahrukh says that playing a perfect father to his two children is the best role he has ever got in real life. He is privileged to have two lovely kids "Being a parent is the greatest joy for me and playing the perfect father is the best role ever! Whilst I am the actor-entertainer, it’s definitely my children who offer unconditional love and bring entertainment and joy to my life," Shahrukh adds.
Shahrukh says he is blessed to have Aryan and Suhana and despite hectic schedule, he tries to spend maximum time with them "By the grace of god, I have two lovely kids and each time I am away from home for long, I make sure that on return I spend enough time and catch up with them. I’m sure a lot of fathers today go through this guilt as they may have missed seeing their child grow. In most cases, fathers never realize this as they have been busy with work, office meetings, deals and catching up with friends that they tend to miss out on smaller but important moments of their child’s growing
years.”
To him, Gauri is his pillar of strength. “I can’t imagine one day without Gauri. I have crazy working schedules through the year and I know how much effort she puts in to look after our home, our kids and even me. I rely on her for everything. She is the reason why we have a good, happy and healthy family. Gauri is a fine mother as I can see her imparting crucial values to my children,” Khan says.
King Khan adds, “I believe parenting is the toughest job in the world as it is parents who shape how their children will grow up to be. A mother’s role is very important, as she is the closest to the child. When I look at my children, I feel safe that Gauri pays so much attention to them. I’m surprised how she has everything planned and how she knows what we need all the time. When I’m all over the place, I fall back upon Gauri. She touches everything about my life,” he adds.
On being asked who his first girlfriend was SRK states "Gauri has been my first and last girlfriend." And perhaps taking a dig at some of his contemporaries who've moved on from one relationship to another, he said, "I believe in having long lasting relationships. So you see, I'm still with Gauri. These relationships, according to me, cannot be changed, off and on. I belong to the middle class thought of school and I am happy with my Gauri."
But he cautioned the youth not to get attracted to the glitz and glamour of the present day world. "We live in a world of disparities, hence it is natural for our ordinary selves to be attracted to the razzmatazz of the glamour world. But the fact remains that all this is not important. I advice the youth to not get attracted to all that glitters. One needs to be simple in his approach. Have a pure heart and soul. Work with dedication. It is important to maintain relationships," he ends.
