Mega- budget upcoming flick ‘Guzaarish’, which is ready for a world wide release in November is being promoted by Aishwarya Rai-Hrithik Roshan intensely during one such promotion scheme Sanjay Leela Bhansali, wanted to promote the film on Bigg Boss 4.being hosted by none other than Salman Khan. The show has become very popular due to Salman's presence it was because of this reason Sanjay came up with idea as he and Salman goes a way back and are thick friends but Bhansali suffered a loss of face when Salman Khan told the channel that promotion for the film would not be allowed on Bigg Boss 4.

Our source said, "The marketing team of Guzaarish and the channel were in talks and everything was finalised. Both the production house and the channel were keen that the Guzaarish team appeared on the show. No one realised that it would actually be a very awkward situation for both Salman Khan, the host of the show and Aishwarya Rai, the leading lady of the film, given their past. Obviously, when Salman learnt about it, he immediately refused to comply."

Salman Khan apparently did not want to be in a situation where he would have to come face to face with Aishwarya Rai. The channel had no say in the matter after this. The marketing team had no option but to refuse the Guzaarish team.

It’s a well- known fact that Salman has very good relation with Hrithik Roshan as well as filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali but Aishwarya Rai factor was proving too much to allow them access to Bigg Boss. Aishwarya Rai plays the part of a nurse in the film while Hrithik Roshan enacts the character of a paraplegic person. Hrithik Roshan’s character is largely chair- bound in the film and Aishwarya looks after him.

Apparently, Salman had also visited the sets of Guzaarish some time ago at Mehboob Studios and met Hrithik and Bhansali. After all, since his Khamoshi days, Salman has revered Bhansali and his work; till date the film remains one of Salman's best works.

Post that, Salman and Bhansali created magic in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. Later, Salman went on to work with Bhansali again in Saawariya. And who knows, they probably plan to work together again.

"But to be fair, allowing the Guzaarish team in would have landed Salman in a situation he never wanted to be in. It's a thing of the past and both Asihwarya and Salman have consciously avoided meeting one another," says the source. So be it. But when contacted, the channel spokesperson said, "It's not true. Talks with the Guzaarish team are still on."

In the meantime, Aishwarya Rai too has reacted sharply to Salman Khan’s refusal for ‘Bigg Boss’ and said to have skipped a shooting for KBC to promote Vipul Shah’s upcoming ‘Action Replayy’. Aishwarya was expected to play the game with Amitabh Bachchan on the show along with Akshay Kumar and director Vipul Shah. However, when Aishwarya came to know that the winning money will go to Salman Khan’s charity organization ‘Being Human’, she bunked the shooting. Says a source, "Aishwarya learnt that the Action Replayy team had decided to donate their entire amount they might win on KBC to Salman Khan's Being Human Foundation. This is why she stayed away from the show."

Though Aishwarya did not turn up for the show, all her other co-stars from the film, including the director Vipul Shah completed the shoot. The winning amount, Rs 50 lakh, as promised was donated to Salman's charity foundation." Neither confirming nor denying the story, the channel's spokesperson said, "No comments."

It was shocking for the ‘KBC’ crew and staff, as she was daughter –in-law of host Amitabh Bachchan, but they managed the show somehow. Aishwarya's spokesperson, say's, "The story is completely untrue. As far as my understanding goes, family members are not participating on the show."
