The gang of Golmaal gets ready to face off with the team of Action Replayy. Both comedy films will compete at the box office however, this doesn’t seem to bother Akshay Kumar “It is so different that you can’t even compare, who knows what the audience will want, both films are there to entertain, all I can say, is that ‘Action Replayy’ is one of those once in a blue moon kind of films, the script, the genre, the all round element of the film doesn’t cross our lives very much, and like all Vipul Shah films, it will be treasured and loved by all families,” he says diplomatically.

Talking about his co-star in the movie, Akshay says that unlike her diva image, Aishwarya was fun to work with “It’s been a long time since Ash and I have worked together, yet it was so easy. Everyone knows how absolutely beautiful she is, but what amazes me is every single shot she gives is like a million dollar shot with her, her expressions, her timing, her grace is mesmerizing,” he gushes.

They will play a bickering couple onscreen in the movie but Aishwarya was devoid of starry tantrums says Akshay "Aishwarya is not a diva. She does not throw tantrums. She does not come with any baggage whatsoever and is an extremely easy person to work with. It's refreshing to work with someone with whom I have not worked with for a while. Ash is simply fabulous and one of the reasons that we shared incredible compatibility as actors and people is because she brings in the same focus, energy and discipline to her work as I do."

After a string of movies with Katrina Kaif does he believe that his pairing with Katrina has been over exposed "When I do a movie with Katrina, people say 'What? You are working with her again?' On the other hand when I don't do a movie with her for some time, people say, 'Oh, why didn't you take Kat, you're the best onscreen couple'."

Akshay admits that at home he is just a wife-abiding husband and it's his better half Twinkle who calls the shot "Mujhe koi sharam nahi hai ye maanate hue ki ghar mein meri biwi bhi mujhe poore control mein rakhti hai (I don't shy away from admitting that my wife keeps me under control at home)." Akshay also joked that he might be a black belt in martial arts but in front of his wife "meri saari belt uttar jaati hai (My belt loses its relevance)."

Akki shows rare boldness by admitting to his pre wedding affairs with Raveena Tandon and Shilpa Shetty, but said that he has been faithful to his wife since his marriage "What's wrong if I have had affairs? I have always been a ladies' man. Since the time I got married, I have been faithful to my wife. After shooting, I return home to my wife and son", say's the action hero.

When asked about Shilpa's reported remark that he had left her in the lurch, Akshay said "I don't have a reply to that. The only person who can reply is the one who made the remark. I am a perfect gentleman and I never talk about women in my life. I have always maintained silence."

The Bollywood hero however discounted reports about his closeness with Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif. He however said: "It's a great thing to be called the sexiest man".

As for any changes he would make to his own past, Akshay says, “I would never mess with my own destiny, I’m lucky I am what I am, I wouldn’t change my past to better myself, and I’d never ask for more, I respect all the decisions I’ve made in my career, and I accept the outcome of all my films, I’m not a cheat. I’m grateful even if only one person wants to see my movie.”
