Katrina Kaif the heartthrob of millions has been rather lovelorn since her ajab prem ki ghazab kahani with Ranbir Kapoor hit rough weather. While there's been talk of her getting back with boyfriend of many years Salman Khan, the one she would actually consider returning to is Saawariya Ranbir. She is still in love with Ranbir and is willing to take him back as long as he mends his flirtatious ways.

Caught between her heart and career she is facing tough times though she desperately wants Ranbir back, Kat is also trying to woo her ex- beau Salman to get on board a YRF film starring Salman. She needs to patch up with her ex, at least professionally as Salman has the last word in the matter. She has sent him several texts and has even asked Salman's sis Alvira Agnihotri to put in a good word, irritating the actor's family and friends to no end.

Katrina's Tees Maar Khan tanked and Dostana 2 is on the backburner. Her film with Hrithik Roshan is complete while Ayaan Mukherjee's film with Ranbir Kapoor has Deepika Padukone in the lead . She has no film with any of the Khans. All that remains, is a Kabir Khan project for Yash Raj with Sallu in the lead. While Katrina is a YRF favourite, Salman is calling the shots for this particular film. To get the actor on board, Aditya Chopra visited him at his residence several times to persuade him to do the film. Kabir went to Pune on the sets of Bodyguard to convince the actor. So, Salman’s choice will matter.

Katrina is in touch with Kabir but his film hasn't been offered to her. She remains fond of him but they haven't been in touch for months now. She was even offered Alvira's Bodyguard but she refused as she felt they (Salman and Katrina) needed some time and space apart from each other before they could do another film together again. But since her last hyped film Tees Maar Khan with Akshay sanked at the box office she is ready to compromise now. Hence this wooing back of Salman Khan.

But what cames as surprise is that Miss no- nonsense is willing to go back to Ranbir Kapoor despite his various linkups with his costars. Katrina and Ranbir were a couple for over a year even though they did not admit to it they fell apart after talk of his philandering refused to die down.Ranbir has been linked with Rockstar heroine Nargis Fakhri and is now warming up to Anushka Sharma of Band Bajaa Baaraat fame. He's been socialising with both the newcomers too frequently in the recent past for comfort. This has not gone down well with Katrina.
A sources close to both said "These transient attractions are common in Bollywood. But they can't go on forever. Ranbir has to mend his ways. If he does, she's still committed enough to take him back. Her feelings for him are genuine," the source added.

And what of her renewing her relationship with Salman Khan? "Katrina and Salman parted ways long ago and have never considered getting back together. They share a special bond and remain good friends. They may even work together in Kabir Khan's next film for Yash Raj Films," the source said.

Ranbir's ways with women have in the past cost him his relationship with Deepika Padukone, who also waited for him to return before moving on to Siddhartha Mallya. What are the chances that he will change for Katrina?

Even rencently when Deepika got rave reviews for her sexy act in Dum Maaro Dum's remix in which she's flaunts her curves and gyrates to the sexy beats had Ranbir Kapoor bowled over by her ada and jhatkas. He has been raving about her in the song, and even sent her a message.Deepika confirms, "He (Ranbir) did tell me that he liked my video." But on probing further on the contents of the text message, she snaps, "Now, I'm not going to share that with you right?"

The situation for Ranbir seems more complex than ever before.
