From her break-up with Salman Khan to her link-up with Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif’s personal life is constantly under the scanner. While she's been in the headlines as much for her break-ups and link-ups as her sexy Sheila moves, Katrina has smartly dodged the media on relationship questions.

The unrelenting attention does affect her sometimes but she has learnt to cope with the pressures
. "We are human beings and sometimes it does affect us especially when so much is being said and written that doesn’t make sense. But one learns and I have also learnt to cope with
it." Says the actress.
Do you feel the media is unfair to you?
"Not at all. The media has played a huge role in the recognition I get and has helped me become the person I am today. I attribute my fan base and other accolades like
'the most searched person on net' to the media. If they speculate and print what they do, it is because it is their job! It’s been done to
everyone."
For the first time she reveals the reason for maintaining a silence in matters of the heart.
"If people say that I don't talk about my personal life to portray an image to the media, they've got it all wrong. It's not about the media or my fans, because for me, it's been a very personal thing since the start. I'm very sensitive about the other person involved. And in the eventuality of life, if you break-up and get back together, I don't want to explain myself to the media constantly. I'm a sensitive person and I choose to protect myself by not talking about my
relationships."
So does Katrina fear failure?
"Fear is something that drives you to do good work and it is important for a person to maintain a positive attitude and keep on doing good
work" adds the stunning beauty.
With films, endorsements, performances and media appearances crowding her to-do-list, the actress admits she sometimes finds it difficult to cope with the hectic work life.
"Sometimes it becomes difficult to stay calm, cool; and with a busy schedule I do get tired, but it’s part of our job. I keep doing things that help me to relax. I do things that rejuvenate me, things that give me extra
help."

A lot of people are comparing Sheila Ki Jawani to Munni Badnaam Hui – what is one thing that Sheila has that Munni doesn’t, and vice versa?
"I have no thought and it’s not really my job to compare and analyse the differences and similarities between the songs. Malaika has done a fabulous job and Dabangg was a fantastic movie. I, on the other hand, have done the best I could in Sheila Ki Jawani. As long as people like them both, I am
pleased."
Why did you choose 2012 for marriage… "Who
knows?" It could happen in two weeks if I meet the right person. If I am not married in five years, I will be very sad. Everyone wants a companion in life – I have worked very hard from a young age and find that the harder I work, the more I crave that stable home, with a partner. Unfortunately, my family lives outside India and I miss them … well, all I can do is hope that marriage, comes to me at the right time, in the form of the right man.”
