S. Mukerji’s 'Gumnam – The Unknown' stars the
likes of Dino Morea, Mahima Chaudhary and Suman
Ranganathan in the leading roles. Neeraj Pathak is
the director of this vehicle whereas the veteran
composers Nadeem-Shravan handle the music bank
together with the lyricist Sameer, who also has
rich experience in writing lyrics for the films.

initial success promises big careers for stars,
then 'Gumnaam - The Unknown' can be a surprise hit
of the year. Mahima Chaudhry and Dino Morea
started their career with 'Pardes' and 'Pyar Mein
Kabhi Kabhi'. After that it was a sorry tale for
them as none of their performances or films has
fared well at the box office. 'Gumnaam - The
Unknown' is a love story woven between stuntman
(Dino Morea) and aspiring starlet (Mahima
Chaudhry). Neeraj Pathak, the writer for Mahima's
debut film 'Pardes' has scripted and directed this
film. It will be second occasion when they are
teaming up together. Sultry and seductive Suman
Rangnathan plays pivotal role in the film.
According to Neeraj, the music plays an integral
part in the film as it promises to be the finest
work by music duo Nadeem- Shravan. 'Bewafaa' was
the last notable musical work from Nadeem- Shravan
this year as this album has a couple of
chartbuster tracks. This Girdharilal Seksaria
presentation has been made under the banner of
Shubir S. Mukherji Production Pvt Ltd. Shubir S.
Mukherji produces this film that has eight
soundtracks. Original soundtracks are on Sony
Music. |
