Maine
Pyar kyun kiya
Samir
(Salman Khan) is a doctor who flirts with just about any
one wearing a skirt!
But
just when the relationship gets serious, he ends it
because he is afraid of any commitment what so ever.
He
does this by saying that he is already married.
He
carries on with this escapade until Soniya (Katrina
Kaif), comes into his life. Soniya is a London based
model with wild suicidal tendencies. She has come to
India for treatment.
We
also have Pyaare (Sohail Khan), an aspiring actor. He
loves Soniya but Soniya falls for Samir who happens to
be her doctor. Samir too responds to her feelings. And
this time he is serious!
And
so starts a series of misunderstandings which needs to
be put right so that Samir can marry Soniya.
First
of all, Soniya becomes aware of Samir's marital status.
Because she loves him dearly, she wants him to get a
divorce. But we know that Samir is not married in the
first place!
So
he needs to get married to get a divorce.
To
help him achieve this, Naina (Sushmita Sen), a nurse at
the hospital comes to his rescue.
She
poses as his fake wife. But there's another hitch. The
nurse also nurses feelings for the Salman though she
never voices her love to the doctor.
How
these intertwined relationships get solved forms the
crux of this laugh-a-minute entertainer.
After
the success of Muhjse Shaadi Karoge, director
David Dhawan makes a comeback with another similar
comedy starring Salman Khan in a lead role.
The
film also stars Arshad Warsi and Rajpal Yadav.
