We asked Lara Dutta to clear the air on the same. This is what she had to say: "I have been asked similar questions on several other occassions but I am not at all going around with Akshay. I am not into any affair with him.

As far as my going out for dinner and other things is concerned, when we go out for shooting anywhere abroad or in India, we remain very friendly with each other.

I vibe well with him and I enjoy his company very much. As a true professional, I enjoyed Akshay as my co-star. I don't want to hide it from anyone that I did go out for dinner and shopping with him."

Akshay has been linked to many women from Bollywood - be it Priyanka or Raveena. But Lara claims there is nothing fishy between them. "Yes I did spend time with him while I was off the camera. We went out to various places and enjoyed our time together. But all this does not show that there is something between us. I don't want this controversy to carry on because I know if any such impression goes out to the public it will be sad for both of us," says the actress.
